Missing You!

Yesterday Chris' grandmother passed away. Although we knew that it was coming because she has been battling illness for a while now, it still doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt that she's gone. Thankfully, she was a believer and we will get to see her in heaven someday. But if you could just remember us in these next couple of weeks in your prayers that would mean the world to us. The actual funeral will be in the Philippines since that is where she is from, but there will be a memorial service that we will be traveling out to California for.

Also, next week is Ryan's graduation from the MTC in Missouri which we will be traveling down there for. It's will be a bittersweet time for everybody saying goodbye and all that, but we are excited to see family and friends. And this weekend we will be going up to Michigan to be with Julie's family for Mother's Day. We are looking forward to that.

Lastly, Julie had her first church league softball game last night, so we will be posting a video of that soon. Which reminds me, we have a praise that one of our video cameras just decided to up and fix itself without us having to spend any money for it to be fixed. Yeah!

Here is a newsletter of Chris' grandparents' ministry in the Philippines. They are such an awesome testimony of how you're never too old to serve Christ. Each day that do sort of a Bible school thing for many kids, most of which are orphans, to help lead them to Christ. It truly was Lula's passion to serve Christ. Even when she was in the hospital she was singing hymns and asking everyone that came in "Do you know Jesus?". What a witness! She truly was an amazing woman of God. And even though she never got to meet Joseph we know that she's got a pretty good view of him now. Love you, Lula. Christopher, Julie and Joe
