Applebees.

Cousin Brett enjoying the main course.

Julie decided to do cupcakes instead of a big
cake and her sister, Sarah frosted them.
These next ones are of Joe enjoying his presents:

From Great Grandma and Grandpa Geresy.

From Aunt Sarah, Uncle Dave, and cousins Audrey,
Haley and Brett.

This present was from us. It's a cool vacuum
ball thing that shoots the balls up in the air. As
you can see, all of the kids enjoyed it. As did the
adults.

Sarah and Dave thrilled to be here.

Still enjoying his birthday cupcake.
It was a lot of fun to have Julie's family come down for the party. For some of them it was the first time they were able to see our house in person.
We also were able to go up to Michigan the last two weekends. This last time we were able to play Friends Scene-it with Sarah and Dave. They won, but we still had fun. Anybody who has watched TV with us knows how much we like that show. We also were able to hang out with Julie's two best friends for a little bit. Her friend Natalie is only home for a little over a week from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Julie was so happy to hang out with her since she probably won't be able to see her again until New Years when the do their annual get together. And Saturday night we went to a talent competition for Julie's brother, Casey. It was audience voted and he ended up getting second place singing a couple of songs. His prize was a $750 scholarship to any college he chose. We were all very proud of him.
Then on Sunday, we drove up to Lansing to visit with the Williamsons. We were able to eat lunch with them and then we all went to a little water park the have there. Joe didn't like the sand in the lake, but he did enjoy play with the fountains that they had. Julie also enjoyed getting wet, and being wet most of the way home because she got soaked in her regular clothes. We did take pictures there, but unfortunately our camera is slowly dying so it ended up not taking them. Oh well, we'll get a new one hopefully soon.
