Prayer Needed

We have some friends, who some of you know, Chris and Ginger Mackey who are in the process of applying for their visas so that they can be missionaries to Brazil with NTM. Below is a copy of an e-mail that they sent us on Tuesday, October 2. They had to go down to the Brazilian Consulate in Texas to apply for this and when they got down there the man they are working with asked them for more documentation about NTM. They are wanting to get into Brazil this coming January. And if all goes well they will only have 90 days to get into the country before their visas expire.

Chris, was in Julie's class at NTBI and we were able to go down to Missouri for their graduation, and are so excited for this way that they are following God. So, please we are asking all of you who read this, even if you don't know them, to pray for Chris and Ginger Mackey. It could take anywhere from 10 days to a month to hear if they get their visas, but we will post again as soon as we hear any news. Following is the latest e-mail that we have received from them.

To those who are and will continue to pray,

We are finished here at the Consulate and are on our way home tonight (Tulsa).

Mr. Americo (correction on his name) told us he is going to have to "review our case in great detail." It may take him 10 days to review our case or he will send it off to Brazil for them to look at. (We feel very special!)

There is great doubt in his mind that our degrees are valid.
This may not qualify us to receive a Vitem VII "Religious workers visa", which we need to move down to Brazil.

We are totally in the Lords hands in all of this and we are going to have to continue to be patient until Mr. Americo contacts us. Which could be "ONE WEEK OR TWO MONTHS."

In His Grip

Christopher & Ginger Mackey

This is a picture of Chris and Ginger graduating from the last phase of the training with NTM. Thank you to all who are praying. And if anybody would like to get in contact with them, here is their e-mail: chris_mackey@ntm.org
